I asked you what your SA cichlids were.. I wasn't asking you anything about your tiger barbs .. And if they do spawn.. They will probably get eaten..

{mod edit}

Just got 5 more tiger barbs and after putting them in the tank I realize that the 5 that I bought wont close their mouth!!!
Did a little research and the only logical explanation would be mouth fungus!!

I have them in a quartine tank now( well more of a bucket!!) and treated it with fungus remover as well as the reg. tank... What do I do now??

Ok so I have 6 tbs in a 75 (getting 5 more soon) and one is rapidly loosing color and it still swims fine.. But the only other thing is that when the biggest tb goes by it it always like goes vertical!! What is this?? And the 1 has no torn fins or any real big prob except this...

I have an albino that does the same ... I'd say it's a sign of submission ... Your tb is probably low man on the totem pole.

Things will probably change when you add more TB's as a new hierarchy is set up so your current low man may end up not being low man. It's the nature of the beast with TB's as they mature.
