I have just bought a floating breeding net. Does anyone know if that will be suitable for a pair of cherry's to breed. It would only be temporary isolation for breeding.

The fry are too small to be contained in a breeding net... You'll need a separate tank if you don't want them to get eaten.

Give them java moss. I have a thriving colony of RCS in a tank full of hungry guppies. The little shrimp hide in the moss.

I have a hunk of java moss tied to a piece of cholla wood in my shrimp tank. They breed like crazy in that. It's fun to sit and try to find the baby shrimp. Man, they are tiny.
