Hi everyone, I wonder if you can help.

My apple snails have had a few clutches of babies now and some of them are getting to a size where they are ready to be passed on to new homes. I spoke to a guy at my lfs and I was told by him that they weren't allowed to sell them any more! Now this has got me a little bit worried - does that mean I'm not allowed to sell them, or does it just apply to shops etc. I had a quick look on the Internet and understand it is something to do with importing them from abroad being illegal. Even though mine are UK bred, do I need to prove this in order to sell?

Hope someone can help, because I can't keep them all :/

What i read is its ok to sell them as long as it's in the UK, so if you maybe tried ebay just make sure you state UK only. My lfs still sells them and buys them. Maybe ask someone else or put them up on the classified here.
