My two gold Angels have had eggs several times since I set up this tank and I assumed they had more eggs a few weeks ago since the pair were guarding a plastic swordtail plant.

Tonight I noticed one Angel was smashing some of the tetras at feeding time but didn't noticed the fry. My daughter did see them a little while ago, probably 20 or 30 total. The Angels are both beating off the other fish that stray to close.

This is a well established tank with quite a bit of plastic planting and a large fake log.

Is it possible to separate the Angels and fry?

If yes, what is the best method?

What do I need to feed them?

What is the expected survival rate if left as they are?

I have 1 Ram, 1 Yellow Tetra, 5 Serpae Tetra, 5 Glowlite? Tetra's with a red stripe, 2 Otto's, a Pleco and 5 Cory's.

Unfortunately it isn't very realistic to try and save fry in a community tank. The best thing to do is remove as many as you can and provide their own grow out tank.
