Hey, got a pregnant guppy and a top fin 2 way breeder. Should I place the pregnant guppy in the breeder now, or wait?

show pic of her blackspot or if it big get her in it.

You should probably wait until she, "squares off", before putting her in the breeder box. Her belly will no longer look rounded at the bottom, but more flat...From experience, these breeder boxes cause a lot of stress, but are good for catching all the fry and keeping them from being eaten or getting sucked into your filtration system. If you are able to, a better option would be just to keep her in a heavily planted tank or aquarium where babies can hide.

Good luck!

If you have an extra tank, or a 5gal bucket, air and a heater, place a plastic colondar so that it has at least 2 1/2" of water in it. Put the female guppys in and place a paper plate with a hole cut in the center over the top. Once you see fry give them another 6-10 hours and put the parents back in their home tank. Raise the fry on BBS
