Water height

Quesion to betta breeders.... What is the Water height for spawning bettas that u have succeed with?? Every where it says 5-7 inches I tried 3 with succeed but want more info from skilled breeders thnx

i use 5 inches in all my breeding tanks

I lowered mine to 10cm or just 6 inches

I've used as little as 1 1/2" to no more than 6". 6" is the max I would do. Anything more would be tough on the fry.
