Wow. My platy still hasn't dropped fry. It's been over 3 months and she is still huge. Is this normal?

I put her in the breeder so I could take a picture - otherwise she is just hiding all day except to eat

Just thought I'd update this. I'm not too sure what happened but she gave birth to 30 live fry and about 20 dead ones. Is it possible that the first batch died and she somehow got pregnant on top of that? Cuz she was absolutely huge and she was pregnant from July-November.

I think if the first batch died she would have expelled them.

I thought that too but I had her alone in a qt tank the whole time. She just had that one drop - all the dead ones were fully developed but were solid white.
