Ok so I got 2 young Spanish ribbed newts abt 3 or 4 weeks ago n I have them in a 10 gal w a moor goldfish. I recently changed out their water yesterday and today I noticed one of them had its front legs almost over its own head grabbing on to the other one’s hind legs. I did some research and it looks a bit like breeding but usually the one on top is the one initiating but for some reason the one grabbing on to the hind legs was def initiating it and the other one seemed almost annoyed by it. Maybe it breeding but I think they’re too young... can’t even tell their genders yet so it seems unlikely but idk
