Folks we are having increasing trouble reports surrounding the classifieds section of the board. In response to this and in an effort to keep classifieds ads as a safe and reliable source for our members, we are going to set in place some restrictions.
In the next day or so you will see the following changes:
New members will not be able to post in the classifieds forum. Members must have 15 posts and have been site members for 15 days before being able to use this section.
We will also be introducing a new rating system so that members can rate their transaction experience. We hope that this will help others when choosing with whom they do business.
We offer our classifieds as a benefit of membership and, while we hope that there are never problems or disputes, understand that occasionally members have unsatisfactory experiences. We believe that these changes will go a long way to improving the classifieds for all, but want to remind forum members that we are not a dispute resolution venue. Please use the classifieds cautiously.
