Anyway to answer your question, if you click your username in the top right corner or on any of your posts it will direct you to your profile page. Then there is a button that says customize profile.

You should start your own thread in the saltwater section and say hi to everyone on your own new member thread.

To do so go into new member or getting started saltwater and click on new thread on the page or from the app hit your phones menu button and new thread. Good luck
