Posting when I'm not posting

Howdy,

I've run into something weird in my last couple of visits: I'll read to the end of a thread and see a post from me that has my user name in the text field, my .sig, and nothing else. And, of course, I didn't post it. There's an example here:

http://www.aquariumadvice.com/forums...ml#post3516034

There has been at least one other, but I can' recall where. Doesn't happen in every thread I read. I've tried deleting the post, but, as you can see, the one in 54 Seaweed's memorial thread is still there. I thought I should report it. In the meantime, I'm off to change my password, just in case.

That is a prudent move. So far I haven't seen anyone else do that.

Are there any other people in the place that the computer was, at that time?

Nope. It's happened since I've been at home for the holidays. If it is a hacker, it's a weird way to try a test post. Ah, well. Password changed.

You might try malwarebytes which is a free download which was suggested for me to share for you.
