Originally, I was going to go with an Asian theme for my little 10 gallon aquarium, but once I got the black substrate into the tank, and my son and I tested out a pair of violet lights I had bought a while back, I ended up thinking, This does not look Asian. This looks like a Goth bar . . . It cracked me up, so I decided to go with the theme. The colors are purple, black, white, and red. I got a bunch of (obviously fake) purple plants and glass rocks of the colors. I also have a black background on the rear panel of the tank. I haven't found a single aquarium decoration - like a castle or a skull - that doesn't just suck, so I'm looking at eBay for crystal, quartz, or rock items. I'm not really that big into skulls, but some of the ones I saw are nifty. If I could find a black glass or crystal castle that was a gothic style, I would be pretty elated.
