Exactly how it sounds.How often do you guys get bitten by your fish.Today I fed my Midevil a huge Lobworm but oh no that wasnt enough.He literally jumped out of the water and tried to take my fingers with it.Love to hear your stories.

It's been a while since I've kept some big nasties but the worst was my jag pair would draw blood when I'd change water while they were guarding fry. My wife would have to use a broomstick to distract them so I could vacuum the waste on the substrate.

After that my trimac male was like a ninja, he'd fly out of nowhere and bite my arm. Thankfully he was only 5" and I was more spooked than hurt, but you could see little bite marks.

Not yet for me. I have a vacuum tube that is long enough to allow me to clean without really getting my handsome the water. My fish all tend to scram when I do water changes. Guess they know who's boss.

My larger O used to feed out of my fingers and then would clamp on a fingertip when it
was real hungry, but was still young so the teeth barely made more than little dents.

My trimac only got me a handful a times, dovii once, convicts 19374763883926 times, RD 95% of the time my hand went in the tank.

All though everything but the cons could draw blood, I honestly was never scared to put my hand in any tank besides the dovii, after the male was probably 10-12" long. Them teeth look large in photos... They are out right scary in person.

Once a week as I'm cleaning the glass before a water change. Herichthys carpintis the almighty rushes at me! Steely-eyed and his black gills flaring. He is a formidable fish and who will take on anybody game enough to enter his lair. Yeah okay....so I'm over-dramatising but he does scare the daylights out of me when he comes at me full pelt. Hahaa....this was fun
