Hi, I am from Hacienda Heights . So has anyone been to Tongs? That's my usual place. Along with Discount in La Habra. In Long Beach there is an amazing place called seaside tropical fish. That store has a big variety! Share your Socal fish store experiences please, and tell me how it was. My favorite place to go to for coral is Discount Tropical Fish in La Habra. Amazing quality of water, excellent coral specimens. Fish...not so great variety but still amazing quality and good bargains. Fishwise, seaside has excellent water quality and a huge variety at standard prices!

Tongs is great. Purchased a few critters from them. Pretty honest about things too. I learned the hard way about keeping starfish in a young aquarium because my lfs down in SD didn't caution me. Asked someone at Tongs about them and they immediately warned me that my tank was way too young and they'd probably starve to death. Appreciate a store that doesn't lie just to sell something.
