Okay, from the top, here's what I have done to start up a recent new tank project. Washed gravel and set down, filled tank with tap water & left for 1 week then added aeration. Another 2 weeks to clear. Added live plant (forgot the names already) and started up heater at 24c. Added rapid-filter treatment (www.tapltd.com) & left another 2 weeks. Tested all good and put some platy's & guppies into their new home. They will all come out in about 6 weeks so I can have the angel's that the tank is really for
Don't restart, I am sure with a few clock adjustments it will all come good.

I'm still trying to figure my way around this site and how to answer and post messages. I'm looking at ANY fish so what do you think are the really hardy ones? Eventually, my son wants sharks and aggressive fish because they "are so cool". lol
