Oh geez, I came home tonight and one of my Angels was dead! I have no idea what could have happened. It was fine this morning when I went to work. I'm so bummed. It was probably 4" in diameter, and now the other one is all alone...any ideas?

Hi Bob! Just a quick note; my Angels are doing great. I have one of them eating squished pond snails out of my fingers.

I have two pairs of Angelfish that have now laid four clutches of eggs one pairs made it to wigglers before getting eaten the other pairs eggs are gone in 24 hours. I have wigglers now so I used a turkey baster and moved so to a breeder net with a small piece of drift wood in it. The other pair just laid theirs eggs 3 hours ago I moved the eggs to a 8 gallon tank that has tap water, heater and the filter they laid them on no gravel. If this is not right please let me know

Hey Bob, I wanted to let you know that since I've gotten rid of the Blackskirts, my Angel's fins are growing back quickly. I'm still amazed that they did that and I never would have known who the culprits were if it weren't for one of the guys on here that told me that it could be them. I never, ever saw them chase anyone. She's doing great though. I had to dose with Paraguard a couple of times, but all is well now. Hope you had a nice Thanksgiving. Denise

    Hello bob How's it going?
  6. Dreamroper
Angel update: my injured one is doing really well. I treated with Paraguard for about 4 1/2 days, and she started eating well. Things seem to be back to normal in my tank!

Update: The one that was getting chased keeps drifting back to the other one. Now, they're hanging out together peacefully. Sure hope I don't end up having to get rid of one of them as they mature....They seem to get along most of the time really well.

    Hey Bob,
I rehomed the Skirts immediately the next day. That night I put them in a 5 gal tank and got them out and away. When angels fight, they don't tear each others fins do they? I figured that they would fight like other cichlids with the lip locking. I just want to make sure that it was the Skirts and not the other angel, because I notice tonight that the healthy one is picking on the one with no top fin, just kind of herding her around the tank. Nothing drastic. The good news is she's feeling better and eating. I dosed with Paraguard for about 4 days, but have stopped since she's doing so much better.

Bob! I came home tonight and one of my angels has her top fin almost totally chewed off! Someone on the forum said they thought the blackskirted tetras were going to start chewing up the fins on my other fish. I'm getting them out of there, but will her fin grow back? She didn't eat tonight..I'm very concerned.

Hey Bob-I finally have a picture up of my Angels under General Discussion. Let me know what you think! Denise
