Hi! I just joined your Discus club. I'm about to purchase a 75 or 90 gallon tank for keeping discus and I plan to plant it heavily. I've been keeping fish consistently for the past 5 years (primarily angelfish). I am eager to learn from those that have more experience than me. Would a 40 gallon breeder (same length as a 55 gallon, but shorter) work?

Just a quick few questions: what is the minimum size tank for a birchir? If I am not able to get feeders, what should I feed? Can different speacies be mixed? Which one do you recommend for a beginner?

Hi, wanted to ask you a question about bichirs, my son bought me one, I really did not have the room for one, and right now it is in a 20 gallon, it is approx 2.5 to 3 inches long, Im not sure what i am gonna do with it yet. is there any fish that are safe with it. i am currently feeding it shrimp pellets and feeder fish.
