Thanks for getting back with me. Appreciate your advice soooo much!! He does eat the whole krill with the shell. Have not tried shrimp, will do that this weekend. I crushed the clams (frozen from our lfs) He didn't touch them. Now he is with a clown and aneneme. Was with clown, aneneme, blue and yellow tang and cromes. We have snails and crab for clean up crew and he hasn't touched them. Was wondering if it was because he is a bit young and would crunch more later? Haven't found the tiny clams yet but will try that and open for it. How long before his teeth are too big? Oh, and... right now I feed him Krill by hand. He doesn't bite me but will take a nip at my fingernails (red). When he gets older can I stil hand feed him and pet him? Thank you Sir!!

Hi, I've read some of your post and they have been helpful. Question. We have a porcupine puffer. He is delighful and have been told I am spoiling him rotton. He is a juvenile (3 to 4"). He eats krill and brine shrimp like the little pig that he is. I'm confused. Worried about his teeth. He will not eat clams. They were a bit big but still didn't eat even the meat. Tried tiny crabs. What other food would be good for his teeth and how do I get him to go for it? He eats dry flake. (when his dad feeds it to him) Thanks in advance.

My salinity is at 1.019 is this a good reading there are no fish in it other then bbs and live rock and idk how its there but a 8inch shrimp looking creature and has what appears to be feathers on its trail and is smashing rocks what is it and I'd it good
