    Hey Tom,

I was following your thread about using LED flood lights in a reef tank. It ended up getting really long, and by the end it seems like there were conflicting opinions. You seem to be the one doing most of the experimentation, so I was hoping I could ask you directly which type of light you had the most success with.

I have a standard 39g, 3ft long and 1.5ft high. Based on the thread, was thinking of going 2x25watt 12000k lights (one for each side of the top divider). Based on your experience, does this sound right, or would you recommend differently.

Also now, months after you first tried using LED flood lights, how are the corals holding up compared to your past experience with other lights?

Thanks for any input, this is my first saltwater tank and I appreciate any help I get.
