Your Mbuna tank is gorgeous! The colors are so rich. Great job! I am curious, with all the plants covering the substrate, how do you go about cleaning the tank since there's no gravel vaccuming? I am new to fish and am planning my 88 gallon. I am in love with planted tanks but worry about the debris in the plants and how to keep the plants healthy and not torn apart during cleaning.
It looks like you really know your stuff, so I thought it wouldn't hurt to ask.
    Have a great day!

Hi Travis, I just got a Nesaea sp. Red. In my book it says that it is one of the most difficult plants to grow. I saw your post and wondered how that plant worked out for you and how you did it.
    Thx, AngelScalare

you got beautiful riccia i was wondering if you have any tips to get min e looking as good as yours i live in lincoln nebraskaand none of my lfs carry riccia let alone even heard of it so i had to drive to omaha nebraska which only has one store that carries it and it costs ten bucks for a petri dish of it of course i bought it and after the price of gas of the trip and the price of the riccia i probably spent about thiry bucks so i want the petri dish to pay off some how so i don't ha ve to make that trip again right now i ha ve it in a one gallon tank (away from my fish so they don't tear it up) on my window sill with a dyi co2 system hooked up to it. i figured the sunlight is as powerful of light as any i can buy is there anything that you might change to make it grow better any help would be great thanks

    Travis,

I got your message this morning. Thanks for thinking about me. I cannot call you back since I do not have your phone number. I am still interested in getting another tank, I just have been too busy to deal with it.
