that would work. I wouldn't put more than two in there though

I would say at least 55gal, the bigger the better. The smallest bichirs still grow to about 10". They like to eat bloodworms and carnivore pellets. Whenever we have meat or fish, I also give them tidbits of those. Like steak, salmon, or chicken. I pre-chew it to get all the sauce or breading off first. :P I don't know about mixing different species, but I would -think- that it would be ok. They seem to like having company. I recommend polypterus senegalus for a beginner. They seem to be very intelligent and will swim up to the glass while you're in front of the aquarium

    Hi there,
Yeah, I can see that my Avatar picture is not showing. I've been having a couple of problems lately. First I am not able to enter the chat room, it says that I don't have the right software. The weird thing is I have always been able to use the chat room. Then I changed a setting so that I don't receive emails when a reply is made to one of my subscribed threads, but I still do. Now it's the picture, the file is not compatible anymore. On my computer it appears as a little blue box with a question mark.

While my tanks are cycling I will be monitoring the temperature as well as picking out plants and finding the perfect peice of small driftwood. But no worries. I also invested in a thermometer. Btw the new 10g build looks nice. Good job

I have a quick question for you if you don't mind you seem to have been answering a lot of my questions. today I purchased an tetra h10 for my 2.5 gallon tanks and i was wondering if this is appropriate. it says its for 2 to 10 gallons and its a 50w. kinda big but i figure eventually i will get the temp right.
