4 eggs, right in the center of the front glass.

It's a who done it mystery. 8O My first guess was my apple snail. I read that most come frmo the store pregnant. However, it seems they usually lays lots of eggs close together and above the water line.

Second guess is one of my Zebra Danios. My wife pointed out that one of the zebras seems to be defending these eggs.

Anyone have any pictures of Zebra Danio eggs? These are cluody white and about 1mm in diameter.

My guess would be the apple snail that sounds like there eggs. Not 100percent sure though they could be the danios. sorry I couldn't help you more

well danios wouldnt really guard the eggs... maybe they were eating them?

Probably from the snail, 1 snail will tuen into a few dozen rather quickly, if you can't control the population. My 10 gal is infested with snails, and my dwarf puffers are slowly bringing the numbers down.

I thought danios scattered eggs in the gravel.

Actually, I did some more searchng and you are correct. Cory Catfish tend to stick eggs to glass. So, it would seem it is my little fleet of bottom feeders that laid the eggs.
