I picked up a pair of female Opaline today. We'll see how it goes. If they do good I will pick up a new pair of Pearls and give up on the Dwarf. I'll keep my fingers crossed.

So after putting the carbon filter back in last night to remove the Melafix. Samantha looks much better today..... I really do think it was the Melafix that killed my healthy Gourami Darren....

Hi , for my two cents I really like the T5HO dual fixture. I use it for my 45G tall. One white, one pink both 6500k and plants are looking great.

Thanks guys that is a lot of help. I have had several large tanks but never with tetra and never really a community tank. Always very aggressive fish. So this is a new adventure for me. Thanks again

Oscars are aggressive and can get very large. They will eat smaller fish. I had one with a Betta and when it got bigger it ate it. Silver Dollars and Bala do well with Angels not sure about other...
