I am on my first month of soaking a few pieces in a bucket. I've done this before and depending on the type if wood it'll take a couple of months. I will then boil the snot out of it in salt water...

No other signs on her and no spots either. I was wondering if it could be gill flukes or something irritating like that. I will adjust the temps and watch closely.

Angelicus Botia

My mom has an Angelicus Botia that is doing alot of flashing and rubbing.
Tank is a 12 gallon Eclipse, fully cycled.
Water perims are stellar, PH-7.6, Ammo-, Nitrites-0, Nitrates-10, temp is 78*....

If you can, put all the substrate in a mesh bag and put it in the 29. While you are waiting for it to cycle get a liquid reagent kit to test the perimeters on both tanks. I personally keep goldfish...
