I have seen mono argenteus kept in both fresh and salt. Obviously different than a GT since they are a brackish fish, but i have seen huge ones in salt tanks at rainforest cafe.

And that goes beyond people who even attempt finding info on forums like this. The majority of people who purchase these fish have 10 gallon community tanks and just shop by whats on sale.

I've had africans get 'heart attacks' numerous times at work. They get very stressed when trying to avoid the net. I usually just set them aside and they come back after 10 minutes or so.

I have used bio-spira a few times so far...each time adding the product and a full stocking of fish....
