I have an allpondsoultions filter ive had it running for about 4 weeks now and looks like it could do with a clean out...sounds silly but how do i do this ???

What is the best way to clean out my All Pond Soultions Filter for my fish tank ive had it running for about 4 weeks now and looks like it could do with a clean....

I used a bottle of safe start or aquasafe i cant remember which and it has left a white silk like substance on the bottom of my tank there was white clumpy stuff in the bottom of the bottle ???? pic in the thred white silk in general disscusions ???

it seams just to lay on the bottom mainly... we did add a bottle of the aquasafe or the other safe one and there was a lot of white cloudy stuff in the bottom of the bottle... tests are all oki but telling me to add aquasafe ???
