I have two water pumps for sale: - Slightly used AquaClear CAP-600 (275 GPH) - BRAND NEW Supreme MAG-DRIVE 7 (700 GPH) I'm asking $10 plus $5 shipping for the CAP-600 and $30 plus $5 shipping for the MAG-DRIVE 7. I no longer have any use for the CAP-600 and the MAG-DRIVE 7 ended up not...

That's right, all three plecostomus are free to any good home located in or around the Jacksonville, FL area. The Clown (3"-4") and Leopord Frog (3") are pretty much full grown and the Rhino is just a baby at around 4". If interested or would like pictures, please PM me or e-mail me at...

Teacup Stingray seems like it's trying to escape

Ever been to a large museum or national aquarium and seen ray tanks where you can pet them? All they do is "window-wash" as Toirtis states and come 1" or so out of the water. Everything is fine...

FS: Synodontis Eupterus "Featherfin Synodontis" in

Hi all! I have a full grown adult Synodontis Eupterus or Featherfin Synodontis as its common name. Roughly around 6" long. I'm not 100% sure if it is male or female, but he/she is definitely a beauty. I wish I had a tank for him/her, but at this time I don't have any money for any more tanks and...

    Pink Knife??

Looks very similar to the Aba Aba, which is even a more bad ass fish. Aba Aba's have a long dorsal instead, and it looks so freakin' sweet. They become monsters like the White Knife though.

What would you carry if you had a LFS?

I was just about to post the same thing ;). JPloman, I think it's an excellent idea to carry freshwater and not just saltwater. I think it's impossible for an LFS to survive like that in the long run unless the owner has lots and lots of cash to lose. As you can see, there are plenty of FW...

    Boiling Driftwood

Boiling does help, but it must be submerged. I simply use the piece of slate most driftwood comes with at your LFS. When purchasing the wood, look for the most porous pieces, these will sink the quickest by far. If they are simply submerged in your tank, it can take weeks or even months. But...

    Sand as substrate?

60 lbs. of sand is what rests at the bottom of my 55 gallon. Not only is it easier for my eels to dig into, but it looks 10 times more colorful when using the 50/50 lighting setup I have. Just be careful of the aerobic pockets, but changing the water and loosening up the sand is all you have to...
