i dont see any problem with 24" tank...u can used a t5 with all single reflector...and its shud be enough coz my frenz tank was at these 24" depth...he mounted it on top of tank with a stainless steel DIY stand...this shud be enough...if u can DIY, i DIY my stand using a pipe...

nice and simple setup there...i dont think u can keep SPS with that fixtures....

if there any sign from the fish like scratching their body to the rock..?? if there is, then it might be ich..this is what happened to my BT n YT....even my algae goby....i just treat them with product called herbtana and fed them food that soaked with garlic....i manage to keep them all healthy...

test your RO water n get the results....i dont think it was came from the RO water instead....maybe other sources....

its hard to get 0 nitrates for a beginner...but if u can keep it as low as possible such 10ppm with a fowlr sw tank, that consider good...and it was great if u can them 0....0 doesnt mean the nitrate isnt there...

hye coffeetwitch.... if u can have the 125gal tank, why not...just go with that...but the bigger is your tank, the more initial costs u will bear... btw, can i know what is inclusive in the 125gal that offer to u..??? all equipment..?? sorry if this already mentioned earlier... Thanx

hye coffeetwitch.... JMO, i would definitely go with your idea...have a "tee" with a ball valve to handle the return water...this is the way to avoid mechanical problems...if u add a ball valve to reduce the water going up to DT so that your overflow wont have a problem, this will only give the...

hi dave... u shud get as low as possible for this two reading (phosphates & nitrates) so that your tank wont fill with algae...but, if u can keep doing water change at least 30% weekly with less feeding, u can control that reading....
