I have two tanks which were fully stocked until recently when a bad ice storm hit and the power went out in below 0 weather for a week. I lost all my fish except my four sarpae tetras.
Desk Tank:
a 5 gallon Fluval Spec V. Used to house my beloved beta fish, but now I'm thinking of turning it into a shrimp colony. currently planted with a moss ball and a java fern, the rest of my plants died during the blackout with my fish.
Community tank:
This is a 10 gallon planted with Fluval Stratum substrate. I hate this substrate. I will never buy it again. It is planted with a moss ball, cabomba, tropica sword, and java fern.
For both my tanks I use Prime by Seachem as a dechlorinator and I toss in some Flourish when the plants are looking a little wan. Currently there are only four Sarpae Tetras in here.
