- We bought our Gus tank as a means of bribing our daughter out of her cat. We didn't realize all the work that goes into a tank but we are starting to get the hang of it now! We have a 25 gal tank and currently we have 2 Dalmatian mollies, 2 Mickey mouse platys, 2 rainbow fish, a plcostima, a yellow snail & a blue snail. We started about a year ago & had tons of trouble getting started! Lost every fish 1st night due to ammonia. Then the ammonia issue kept coming back again & again. As you can probably tell, we are still very much amateurs!
