I am looking to build my own 280 gallon fish tank. I am going to have it built into the wall. I was wondering if anyone knows the exact measurements for a 280 and also how thick is the glass?

I am gonna buy one tomorrow and give it a shot. I will keep you posted

Updated Pictures Ok so I have my background on and some updated pictures. Does anyone have any tips on how to get the bubbles oput of the background when the tank is already established and settled in?

ok so i got the black background and am trying to put in on usung the veg oil trick. I am having a hard time with the bubbles simply because this tank is already established close to the wall and i cannot get anything behind it to smooth out the bubbles. :( any tricks out there? I will post pics...

So I have a well established(4 months) 75 gallon tank. I perviously had a 110 gallon tank. I currently run two canister filters on my tank. One is filled with bio media and the other is filled with polyester that polishes my water. Ever since I have been doing the whole "tank" thing(3 years now)...
