I'm thinking of making half the tank Eco-Complete only 3", and the other half with Eco on the bottom, and white gravel on top, and shaping it like an Yin-Yang pattern. The darker side will have dark driftwood and red/brown plants, and the lighter side will have white/gray rocks and green plants...

I currently have a 15W light rated at 6700K with a CO2 system for my 10 gallon planted tank, but I'm thinking about changing the gravel to something better for plants. Should I layer the bottom with just Eco-Complete, or should I put a layer of Eco-Complete then a layer of another substrate...

For betta owners, where do you buy your bettas? I'm looking at Aquabid and 99% of the bettas listings there are from Thailand...

I really haven't heard of most of those things except anubias and crypts... I just ordered some plants off of aquabid actually, so I probably won't be buying any. But if you're going to throw them out please let me take them :D

I currently have 2 ludwigia of some sort, one other plant that looks somewhat like water wisteria, and I just ordered some dwarf hair grass, rotala, and crypts. If you have plants for sale just let me know what you have and I'll probably get a few as well.

I have glass/ghost catfish, and they're about 2 inches long. And tetras are neon tetras. Will the shrimp eat plants I have in the tank?

I will need to attach what to DW or rocks? Only java ferns and anubias, right?

One more question.. what special things do I have to do to the roots of my plants (i.e. root tabs, rhizomes)?

I have a 10 Gallon, with tetras and catfish. How many can I have? And what do these things eat? Is it okay to put them in a planted tank, will they eat the plants?
