    Goby making water cloudy?

Get another goby... Sorry to be a downer but my goby was the same way. He would take in some sand in his mouth and would spit it back out as he swims up to the top of the tank. And the sand would go all over the place. My rocks, corals would be covered in sand. I traded him in for another goby...

    Just about freaked out lol

I just exchanged my coral banded shrimp because he was very territorial and wouldn't leave one spot. He was also snapping at his mates that were getting close to his spot. The new one is actually all over the place during the day and at night and actually tries to clean the fish.

    So confused

I have a feeling he is hanging upside down on the bottom of one of your rock work?

    Clownfish

Out of 4 different damsels that I previously had, yellow tail was the least problematic one. But was still problematic. I'd stay away from damsels. You may get lucky with a good one but odds are against you and if you have rocks in your tank good luck getting them out once you find out that he's...

    Help stocking 60-65 gallon??

Thank you. I spent too much money for my fluval to just switch :). I'm on the same boat, 0,0, and less than 10. I want to get my feet wet with some beginner corals.

    What is this?

I've been through this, just like everyone else. If you want to take the natural route, do nothing. If you're impatient and want it gone NOW, just like me, use Kent's marine tank clarifier. And for your sand, I found that a goby would your best friend. I can't stress how clean the sand looks of...

    Help stocking 60-65 gallon??

Really sorry to go off subject and not contribute anything to your question. I have a canister filter as well, do you have any major problems when it comes to keeping corals? Do you do anything special? I only ask because, most hobbyists do everything they can to discourage you from doing...

    Need help ID'ing this

Anyone have any idea what this stringy slimy brown thing is that's under the live rock. The top auctions itself to the rock and the bottom is sort of a bulb that inflates and deflates. It also travels through the crevices of the rock. Any help would be appreciated. Should I get rid of it or is...

    Snail problem?

One of my hermits just stuffed one of the snails in the sand and the snail is just keeps digging himself in deeper as he tries to move. Is this normal or should I dig him out.

    Damsel horror stories

I started my tank with 4 of them. Found that domino was the most aggressive, putting another fish in there was not even an option because he was like a piranha. Once I returned him to the LFS, the three stripe sort of became "the man" and became the most aggressive. After I returned him the...

    Dirty

I think the best thing for sand is a goby. Ever since I got my gold headed goby my live sand has been looking pristine.
