Got that covered I spray them in the morning when I wake up and before I go to bed with RO water. How long have you had yours? And do they have leaves? I heard it could take months for them to grow.

They're not in the overflow I used a rubber band to attach them to a branch rock which sits behind the main rockwork right in front of the overflow I love how it turned out it looks like the mangroves are growing right off the rocks I can't wait until they sprout leaves

Here is where the chaeto is in the refugium doing pretty good I've also went ahead and added a couple mangroves to the display it took about 2 months before they sprouted roots

I usually get a bucket and add 2 gallons of RO warm water and 1 gallon of distilled white vinegar you can add all you wavemakers and return pumps and turn them on in there for a few hours after that use a toothbrush and any kind of algae even tough coraline falls right off leaves everything...

They're pretty easy to grow like sniper tank said salt brackish or fresh they can grow in all 3 and I've even seen people grow red mangroves in a pot with mud and soil they are pretty hardy Sent from my iPhone using Aquarium Advice
