    75 gallon tank

Haha, yea...we're WoW geeks too. :) And yes, that is my 75 (which is now my salt tank). I haven't kept any oscars at all, just suggesting some awesome fishies to have. :)

    Wet/Dry converted to sump/refugium?

Yea, I thought it was kind of strange about what they were saying about fuges. I've always thought they were only beneficial? I do have pods already on my main rock that I transferred that had coralline and my zoas on it. They've now started to spread quite rapidly over my other rocks, which is...

    75 gallon tank

We had a ton of African cichlids in ours. Probably about 10 or so. Super active fish. Also very very pretty. Especially the males. :) Check out our favorite male and the tank before we converted to a much bigger tank.

    Puffer puffing.

Aww! I would love to see that. I always thought it was almost deadly for them to puff up? Or is that only a certain kind of puffer?

    Wet/Dry converted to sump/refugium?

I actually didn't get that post. :( Mushrooms sound like fun! My water is getting better by the day. I'm wondering if it just hadn't completely cycled? Trites are gone, hardly any phosphates, and trates have started to go down as well. Still going to do a water change tomorrow.

    Wet/Dry converted to sump/refugium?

Heh, that was what I was about to ask for. I've been researching a lot on how to convert, but many people don't have pictures or even video to describe what they did. I've looked at a lot of diagrams on how they should be set up, or even an entire different set up with a 20g like you had...

    Wet/Dry converted to sump/refugium?

I definitely have an extra light, would just need to get the clip. Carey - you've seen the 20 g tall tank...not sure that would be very helpful. I'll probably have to end up putting acrylics in it but even so, not sure with it's width and depth that it'll fit much. Isn't the skimmer supposed to...

    Hello!

Hi all! I've been in the fishy hobby for at least a year now. It all really started when my neighbor sold us his 55g with stand, lights, fish (even though they were goldfish), gravel, etc for mad cheap. So we took it in. Eventually we got rid of the goldfish and converted it to an African...

    Wet/Dry converted to sump/refugium?

Hello there! I'm kind of new at this, but I was wondering about converting my current wet/dry setup to a sump/refugium/protein skimmer setup. I've done a bit of research, and it seems the wet/dry is not going to be sufficient enough to have any corals in my tank. I currently have a smaller zoa...
