At my lfs they have dwarf puffers in brackish water..I've done reading and research I've heard they can live in brackish water but prefer fresh. My question is is it possible to transition the puffs from brackish to freshwater ? And if so how??
Quarantine him if you can so he isn't spreading a sickness if he has one and isn't bullied by tank mates. me personally I'd start with an aquarium salt treatment and keep a close eye for any changes...if the light hit him he may have internal breeding or other problems...keep an eye on him..best...
Thank you all I like to do all the research I can before attempting to keep a fish I know figure 8 puffers are brackish fish and Indian dwarfs are entirely freshwater that's what I'm looking for
I would like to keep a dwarf puffer I have a few questions. .I'd love to have one in my planted nano tank 5.5g aqueon 10 power filter is that ok? If not what would you guys recommend for that tank that has a personality?
