    i forgot to mention the starfish you just helped me identify, (Ophiomastix annulosa) on the weblink you sent it says --"It is nocturnal and often hides under rocks during the day. At night, it comes out to eat detritus and small organisms. Avoid housing with slow, small, sluggish fish." hmmm...

    no i purchased him at the LFS, he comes out when the lights are out sometimes and moves around, pretty quick little bugger. Isn't "brittle" a general category of starfish? Is there a more specific name for him?
