Thank you for your reply’s. I’m guessing v227 is right especially with this fish’s history. He does thrash around sometimes and has actually jumped out the tank and managed to get underneath the tank which was a nightmare but that was over a year ago and has done well since. I’ll keep my eye on him.
Not sure if this is the right place to post but hope you can help. I have two Nerite snails in my tank with a bunch of fish. They lay eggs everywhere which doesn’t bother me but looks like they’ve managed to stick one to my Siamese Algae Eater! Is this normal? Definitely looks like a Nerite egg...
Just thought I’d update to anyone interested and for any future readers going through the same thing.
I failed saving the Angelfish in question. I done everything I could possibly think of, quarantine, research and medicate. I’m still not sure what I was battling with. Yesterday evening she...
I’ve quarantined this angelfish for 8 weeks now medicating with Esha Hex and Esha exit. Doing 40% W/C every 3 days and I even dosed with salt for a week. I am getting nowhere with getting this fish back to good health.
I have just discovered she has a 3 inch very thin translucent white poop...
So I’ve seen a few threads where a Nerite snail goes missing but 1 out of 2 of mine has literally disappeared. The last time a saw the two of them was 3 days ago. My tank in a 23gal bare bottom quarantine tank which one small piece of bog wood growing Anubis and two fairly large sponge filters...
Thank you for your help!
I've just done a 40% WC and can't decide wether to add salt or Esha 2000 and Esha white spot or all three. I know Esha 2000 is a great fungus and bacteria treatment and Esha white spot can safely be used at the same time. Not 100% wether it is safe to use salt as...
Never heard of that but just searched it on google and I think you're right she has some of her top lip missing. So if that is the case I need to lower the temp and add salt asap?
She is eating fine but struggling to get flakes off the surface.
Thanks for your reply, I'm confident it can't be water conditions that has caused this or stress. I've not added any new fish for many months and I do 30% WC once a week without fail and it's a lightly stocked 65gal tank just housing two Angelfish (only one at the moment) a bristle nose Pleco...
I have no idea what I am working with and I am hoping to get some expert advice and knowledge that can help me save my female angelfish.
So I have a Female silver blue pearlscale Angelfish, or atleast that what I was told when purchasing from a local breeder, anyway she is suffering from what...
I think that's what it is. If i up the temperature of the heater to 26c it stays dead on 26c about 4 mins on 11 off. But at 25c it's 26 mins on 2 hours of so that must be must closer to my ambient room temperature at the moment hence why it's off for so long.
