The light fixture in our hood has broken off. I thought a good fix would be to strap it back on with a stainless steel band. Would the condensation, and drops in to the tank, be a problem because of the metal?

When we got our latest goldfish, he had beautiful black markings. Now, a couple of months later, almost all the black is gone. Is that normal?
