They could I guess. Maybe they are just to young still, but they have never even tried yet. I have actually had my cory cats swim all over the map turtle and he just sat there and didn't care. We keep the turtles well fed to.
So I do have a ton of plants on the way soon. I ordered around $60 worth. So far the stock list is as follows.

- 2 Chinese Algae Eaters
- 3 Neon Tetras
- 4 Peppered Cory Cats
- 3 Glass Tetras

I got the stand stained with two coats and began working on the doors. The doors are held in place by cabinet catches. If you want some picture of how it works let me know and I can post some. I just finished filling the smalls holes in the doors and will stain them tom. Next comes my new light...
Here are a few more shots of the tank and the current basking area for the turtles. I cut some glass and placed it into the corner. I plan on buying some acrylic and building a nicer enclosure to keep the turtles from escaping.

I have always used my power washer. This gets pretty much anything off since the majority of pieces are way to big for any type of boiling. Here is the piece I just got a few days ago. It is now in a blow up pool with some resin weights on it.
Driftwood!
So I took the wife and kids to the Kankakee River today. It is only about 4 miles from the house. We parked to the side and went to to the water. Within 5 minutes I noticed this nice piece of driftwood just sitting on the edge of the water. I grabbed it and we headed home. I spent an...
Ya the fixture is right over $500. I know lighting is expensive. I paid over $350 to light my 28 nano cube reef tank. The bulbs would have to replaced and if I went with Geisemann im lookin at another $160 or so 660-700. Woo, gettin pricy not to mention a few hundred for a automatic co2 system...
Really the only fixture ive found so far is a 8x39 Watt AquaticLife T5 HO Light Fixture w/ 6 Lunar LEDs. A little more $$$ than I wanted to get. I have found aquatraders ones also. Much cheaper but then you get what you pay for.
