I just looked further down and there is a section with barnacles...there is a pic there that is identical to what I am seeing...white, feathery, and close to the rock. Could this be it as well? As for the hydroids...is there a good way to remove them? Sent from my SM-N910V using Aquarium Advice...

Here is another pic...I found one with a longer tube...most of them don't seem to have a y tube at all. They just seem to be sitting on the rock. They seem to have a very small base. Sent from my SM-N910V using Aquarium Advice mobile app

Hey all, just switched from a Nuvo 16 to a Fluval 24 Gallon. Used new sand, my old rock, added some more rock too. I have a pair of clows, one cleaner shrimp, a conch, and two corals. Around one of the corals, there is a gray algea growing maybe? I have started to see some diatomes as well...
