Yep, I'd rather spend more on a skimmer and other accessories, than have my fish/coral die, have to buy multiple ones, etc.

I'm going to be going with the reefbrite led's, and probably a seaclone i believe it was, skimmer. not sure atm, still looking for those.

That's good to hear, if you're lookin for a different anemone, I was told carpet anemones are good hosts. I myself am gonna try to get my clowns to host in my zoas once I get em.

nice! I'm hopin to start gettin into coral after i get my new lights in the next few weeks. I'm lookin for radioactive dragon eyes, some of the pink zoas, and probably eagle eye or starfire zoas. I'm gonna try to make a cool colony. (sorry to trail off XD) good luck with your corals!

i would take it back and get a different kind of anemone, as the condys from my experience and what ive read, will actually eat the clownfish. also i said basically the same in my thread, didnt know if you realized it was the same person, so just stating

i believe theres a few threads on here about it, but you can google somethin like anemone ate my clownfish, etc. and probably find them, im in class or i would find some links. also, im thinking they are male and femle, as since the moment i added the new(bigger) clown, they havent fought at...

i think i read somewhere that a clown had hosted a colony of zoas, but i cant remember for sure.. as for the Nem eating my clown, yea it was asuprise but after it happened, i did some searching and it turns out its actually not uncommon for a condylactus to eat a clownfish

is that pink tipped nem by chance a pink tipped condylactus? or are they two different species?

Thanks for the replies! Jabibi: Do you happen to remember how big they were? mine are currently about...2 inches long and 1 inch tall, and the other is about 1" long and 1/2" tall. And what do you think about zoanthids? will they host them?
