Well that works too! I will let you know how the Plexiglas goes and try to take a pic of it.

I may just try the Plexiglas thing. I was hoping to go a less tacky route, lol, but maybe it won't look all that bad??

Hey there! New to this whole fish tank thing period! My boyfriend recently moved in a has a 55 gallon saltwater tank and a 55 gallon fresh water tank with a piranha in it (and I hate that fish). So I am sure I will be here often asking questions on what to do to keep these tanks going! -Becky

The tank has a glass lid on it and a cover over the filter already. Is this what your referring to or something different?

My boyfriend recently moved in and has a 55 gallon saltwater tank. When we moved it the wall behind it was ruined from where the salt ate through the sheetrock. Any tips on how to keep this from happening to my wall? I thought about maybe getting some Plexiglas and putting it between the tank...
