    Which plants? :)

Yeah I know, I've not had any major problems with water quality so I assumed it was ok as it was, but more frequent water changes will be done from now on I think - I hadn't considered the mineral levels in the water before :) Yes I know he will, he was given to me when I didn't know better and...

    Which plants? :)

Hehe Brookster123, if you have other advice in mind you're welcome to share it :p Thank you for the ideas, I especially like like the idea of growing it on a rock or wood - are you supposed to cut and remove the thread after it's taken root or do you leave it on just it case the plant comes...

Cycling and clown loach advice please

Ok, well I don't know anyone with a bigger tank than me, and I don't want to get rid of him - if I were to set up this tank at my parents' house, how difficult do you think it would be to transport it to mine later? Has anyone had any experience with moving house with a big tank like this? Sent...

Cycling and clown loach advice please

Hello, I've seen a 6x2x2 foot tank (179.5 gallons) advertised recently - I have 3 clown loaches, 6 inches is the biggest and about 2 inches is the smallest, currently in a 3x2x1 foot tank at the moment so they'll need a tank this big someday - I was just wondering how long it would take to cycle...

    Which plants? :)

It's a 30 gallon, gravel, I leave the light on for about 8 hours a day, but that can be altered to suit the plants if necessary, and I do about a 75% water change every month Sent from my HUAWEI G510-0100 using Aquarium Advice mobile app

    Which plants? :)

Hello, I'd like to start putting plants in my aquarium - I have neon tetras, guppies, mollies, 2 bristlenose plecos and 3 clown loaches - my biggest fish are about 6 inches :) Can anybody recommend some hardy, easy to look after plants? Preferably ones which can't be uprooted easily :) Thanks in...

Clown Loach acting strange after medicating tank?

They all seem fine again now :) How do you know whether treatment for fin rot has worked or not? I assume the fins don't just heal instantly - is there any outward sign that they're healthy again? :) Sent from my HUAWEI G510-0100 using Aquarium Advice mobile app

Clown Loach acting strange after medicating tank?

I didn't no, I still have the bubbles created by the filter, and removing the carbon seems to have made more bubbles, but I didn't do anything else to increase the oxygen - I did wonder if that was what was wrong. Ahh ok, that explains and describes their behaviour perfectly - he did seem kinda...

Clown Loach acting strange after medicating tank?

Unfortunately I don't have another tank to put him in, but I've finished the water change and he seems much calmer - more or less back to his usual self again :) Thank you both, I really appreciate your help. :)

Clown Loach acting strange after medicating tank?

Hello, I noticed some of my guppies and maybe m,y bristlenose plec had torn fins, so i treated for fin rot with Interpret anti fungus and finrot medication (it's an English brand), according to the dosage instructions on the bottle. I took the carbon out of my filter. The medication needed to...
