Snails normally mean that's something else isn't quite right. Could you post your parameters please? Also check that you are not feeding your fish to much food. That your lights are not on too long. There's loads to do. Assassin snails are cool though.

I would turn up the temp gradually and add in some aquarium salt. That helped mine. Just be careful!!!!!
