That about right. Imo a 10g is a lil small depending on the size of you beauty if its a baby shouldnt be a big deal.

Ok. Give the garli a couple days. But you dont want to over feed them. Its also always a good idea to ask how long the fish has been at the lfs, if it just came in its gonna stress it even more moving it again.

Is the algae affecting your tank?( levels, livestock). Or are you just wanting to try and clean it up?

500 is a lil much. But for a fish like that i wouldnt chance it. Expecially if you want other livestock.

The achilles tang needs alot of room to swim, not only that but can be aggressive and its not a good idea to put a bunch of different tangs together. Beautiful fish but they are also prone to sickness. Just as a powder blue is prone to ich. It is an expert care fish. I dont know your skill...
