Anyone know what could cause an sps to start losing skin overnight? I put a birdnest in my tank yesterday acclimated properly and parameters are normal and today it is shedding it's skin and bleaching along with a cap and another nest I put in yesterday? 10 Gallon Reef Build?
Some tanks just can't grow chaeto. It's an unexplained phenomenon. I wouldn't worry about it. BTW, running the light 24/7 for chaeto is a waste. 10-12 hours is plenty. I would try some caulerpa. Any kind will do, and this is the stuff you can run 24/7 and it may benefit you. Quoted from Mr X...- Bill0181
