If any one know where I can get some nice hm female for a good price let me know. In in Calgary, Alberta, Canada so I'm gonna check big Al's when I get back from my trip. I don't really want to have to pay shipping as it will cost me more $$

She's beautiful. Doesn't look like a vt though as the top a botton fins are a lot longer than the ones on a female vt I used to have. And I'm guessing you wouldn't let her go?

I'll try my best to find a red female hm. I'll have to look at the rays on the female. If I can find a red vt or a random hm which should I choose for the male?

So the owner no longer wants this Betta so I get him for free. He is just over a year so in its prime for breeding. He had fin rot but it is a halfmoon. What colour or type of female should I get him? Would a red Cambodian create some nice offspring?

I want to breed bettas. I've tried twice and have succeeded yet. I've gotten eggs once they never hatch though due to a fungus attack and then I had 2 unsuccessful pair. I'm planning on getting 2 males and 2 females to raise the odds off getting a pair. Or should I get 5 females and home them...

Should I breed hm to hm to get some nice halfmoons or pk to hm to get som nice show plakats after a few generations?

The person I'm buying my bettas from is a breeder. He says he's got males at 6 months and young females. For females he has hm and ct. For makes he has pk, hm, ct and I think some deltas. I would get 2 males and 2 females. What types do you think will work best and sell best or for most.

I'll have to get ahold of some scarlet badis. I was thinking of maybe gbrs but I've also heard they are a little more work as they need really good water quality.

I was thinking of breeding bettas as I have a 20 and 5 to hold fry and separate multiple bettas for mixed pairs. Or what else can I do with this tank wether its breeding or just keeping a nice display tank.
