I have Texas Holey Rock in a African tank set up. A couple of the rocks have a dark green color that looks like it is painted on. I also have a purplelish color forming too. Was just wondering if anyone has seen, or know anything about this... By the way I do think it is pretty cool!... Thanks...

Quick question... A piece from my hob filter broke off and I will need to glue/ silicone it back together. My question is that I have the media in a bucket of tank water. How long before the bacteria start dying off. Do I have more than a couple hours ,it is a secondary filter by the way...
