Added 20 lbs of live rock today.

It is blue. I have not exposed it to air.

My sister showed up with a linckia star, and my wife didn't know any better than to just thank her for the gift. Has anyone had any success with them?

Ammonia 0, nitrite 0, nitrate 10 ppm. Have diatom algae. Going to wait a while yet to start stocking.

Officially been up and running for a week. Ammonia is on the way down, nitrites on the way up. I can't wait to start stocking it.

Bought some live rock today and found these on some of it. I know that they are polyps but not sure what kind any ideas.

Added Hydor Koralia today and looking into timers for everything. Any advice on timers?

Thanks for the advice on the power head the maxijet came with the tank so I figured I would run it for the time being. I did think about the TV but it is on a swing mount and can be pulled out to where it should be non problematic.
